Big Five Safari

At the heart of Spotlight lies one of Africa's most extraordinary experiences: twice-daily game drives through the vast wilderness of Kapama Private Game Reserve. Spanning more than 15,000 hectares of untamed bushveld in the Greater Kruger region, Kapama is one of the largest privately owned reserves in South Africa. Unlike a national park, access is exclusive to lodge guests, creating a far more intimate safari experience with fewer vehicles at sightings and a greater sense of exclusivity.

Accompanied by expert rangers and trackers in open safari vehicles, guests venture deep into the reserve in search of Africa's iconic Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo - while also encountering giraffe, zebra, cheetah, hippo and countless other species that call this remarkable landscape home. No two safaris are ever the same.
